Part Time Tutor 25-26 SY

AMPS (Amethod Public Schools) is seeking a Part-Time Tutor for students who need remedial assistance. The role involves tutoring students in academic areas, assisting with homework, and assisting with project work during afterschool hours. The position will be overseen by Site Director or ASES Coordinator, ensuring student safety and school accountability.

Requirements

• Work experience in a school setting with students
• Organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to pass a DOJ background check
• Willingness to create and follow individualized professional development plans
• Ability to demonstrate skills in academic activities
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• High level of communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong initiative and ability to solve problems
