The Traveling Carpenter performs hands-on construction and carpentry work at various project sites, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to specifications. This role requires frequent travel and requires teamwork. They must measure, shape and cut materials, install structures, and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently and stay overnight.
- Minimum of two (2) years of carpentry experience.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and carpentry tools.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Basic math and geometry proficiency.
- Attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government site clearances (including FRA).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
