Job Description
We are looking for an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Cencora. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical pharmacy background and experience in retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing. The role involves direct patient care and collaboration with other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- PharmD degree
- Current unrestricted pharmacist license
- 5+ years community/retail/ambulatory pharmacy experience
- Experience in specialty pharmacy and/or processing prior authorizations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Prior experience on pharmacy dispensing systems and insurance adjudication processes
- Ability to work with complex disease states and medical conditions
