Job Description
The Senior Director of Advisor Consulting is a key member of the Advisor Consulting & Development program for the intermediary distribution channel at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. The mission of the program is to be a valued partner bringing education, insights, and resources to financial advisors to better serve their clients and strengthen and grow their practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and industry credentials (ex CFP, CIMA, CPWA) preferred
- 10-15 years financial services experience, ideally within asset or wealth management industry working directly with advisors or clients
- Experience working with financial planning topics that could include retirement, workplace wealth, equity compensation, small business owners
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to write thought leadership pieces and collaborate with marketing to create presentations
- Travel required, though varied, could be 25% of time
