Job Description
This ASME Welder is responsible for assembling and welding custom bladder tanks, strainers, and valve products. The position requires adherence to ASME codes and a strong attention to detail, and working with a range of equipment. Welding must be watertight, and production goals should be met with high quality and timely delivery.
Requirements
- 2+ years of welding experience
- Must pass an ASME weld test
- Proven ability to safely operate a forklift
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Prior experience with material handling in a manufacturing environment
- Physical requirements: Up to 6 hours standing/walking, lifting up to 50lbs, bending/stooping/kneeling, etc.
