Job Description
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Navigation Engineering Lead for their Unmanned Aircraft System Air Vehicle Team. This role involves coordination across Development, Production, Sustainment and Training IPTs, managing a team of navigation subject matter experts, and ensuring the effectiveness of navigation systems. Requirements
- Report to the VMS Flight Management Lead Systems Engineer and in their absence, directly to the Air Vehicle Team Lead.
- Manage navigation requirements and architecture.
- Manage navigation roadmap, Jira ticket tracking, DMSMS obsolescence and reliability.
- Coordination of navigation roadmap.
