Job Description
The Injury and Violence Prevention internship is a 2-3 month internship focused on applying public health practices to injury and violence prevention. The intern will work directly with the Public Health Practice Manager within the center, updating the website, developing educational materials, and monitoring ongoing and emerging issues.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate public health students or allied fields
- At least 1 year of work experience with an interest in injury and violence prevention practice and policy
- Excellent oral, written and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to take initiative and work independently and within a team environment
