Job Description
American Humane Society is seeking Certified Animal Safety Representatives (CASR) for their upcoming training class. CASR will be responsible for representing the organization’s No Animals Were Harmed® program on film and television, ensuring the humane treatment of animal performers, and documenting animal handling and care procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to animal welfare.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Registered/Licensed/Certified Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT)
- B.S. in Animal Science or related field from an accredited school, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of equine knowledge and experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to provide own transportation
