Job Description
The Surveyor I position, under direct supervision, is a junior-level role within a survey firm. The role focuses on developing expertise in marine surveying, including compliance with Safety of Life at Sea requirements, and preparing reports. The position requires understanding and applying applicable regulations, procedures, and concepts related to vessel classification and safety.
Requirements
- Tertiary education in engineering or physical science (2+ years of experience or equivalent experience from a marine/nautical institution)
- Proficiency in the English language
- Knowledge of ABS Rules and other relevant regulations
