Job Description
The American Bar Association (ABA) is seeking a Lead Senior Counsel to provide legal policy guidance and serve as national legal expert in the field of legal and judicial ethics and professional responsibility law.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Minimum 12 years of significant professional legal experience in legal policy development, advocacy, and scholarship
- Well-developed skills in supervising professionals, editing, and interacting with leaders of the profession
- Proficiency in Word, Adobe products, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Member in good standing with an active license to practice law in the State of Illinois or eligible to obtain admission
