Job Description
AMCON is seeking an Estimating Manager – Electrical to lead the estimating and preconstruction function for strategic electrical projects. This role involves managing estimating teams, ensuring accuracy, developing competitive bids, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. The manager will collaborate with business development, operations, and project management teams to support company growth and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 7+ years of electrical estimating experience
- 3+ years of leading teams or major bids
- Proven success estimating industrial, mission-critical, or large commercial electrical projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction methods
- Proficient in estimating software (Accubid, Trimble, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizationalskills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
