Electrical Estimator

AMCON, a family-owned construction firm with 20 years of experience, is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator. This role involves accurately estimating costs, managing relationships with customers, and supporting project management. The ideal candidate will ensure precision of estimates, review construction documents, and identify potential risks. They contribute to the company's growth and reputation by participating in value engineering and business development.

Requirements

• 5-8 yrs of industrial manufacturing estimating
• 2-5 yrs of hands on industrial work experience
• Experience working on data centers is a plus
• Knowledge and experience of a bid estimation software, enabling accurate and efficient cost analysis for electrical projects
• In-depth understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and expertise in Low Voltage Systems
• Exceptional math skills, allowing for precise calculations and assessments of project costs and requirements
• Strong communication abilities
• Ability to accurately assess staff performance
