Senior Back End Engineer, AI Products

We're looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to help us achieve our mission of making financial advice better, more affordable, and accessible to all. You will be working on building the AI engine at the heart of our product, hazel.ai, and will be responsible for architecting robust systems, building scalable data pipelines, and optimizing search and retrieval infrastructure.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with some of them contributing towards building ML systems at scale, in a production setting
• Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and sound software engineering principles
• Excellent problem solving skills, ability to break down complex problems into simpler constituent parts
• Intentional communication, ability to listen as well as share perspective with others
• Resilience, ability to achieve success despite adversity
