Job Description
Alpha Public Schools is seeking a 6th Grade STEM Teacher to join their team. The successful teacher will believe that all students are capable of success and will uphold high expectations for students while utilizing student data to drive instruction. The teacher will also be committed to amplifying and celebrating the diverse experiences and cultures of scholars and their families.
Requirements
- Develop lesson plans and supplementary materials to teach standards-based curriculum
- Operate a classroom with sound classroom management practices and engaging lessons that produce strong academic results
- Maintain open lines of communication with staff, families, and the greater Alpha community
- Participate in regular and ongoing professional development, observations, and feedback sessions
