Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide manufacturing engineering support to Stanley Access Technologies manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will perform design, development, and analysis of engineering/operations processes, lead activities to obtain optimum utilization of assigned processes, and drive efficiency, improved quality, and safety with a focus on overall plant productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering / Technology or related technical field
• 5+ years’ experience in a related engineering position
• Experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools and Lean Sigma Methodology
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and in independent situations
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, schedules, rules, procedures, etc.
• Ability to read, interpret, and perform from various documents, including method sheets, assembly drawings, production reports, safety rules, blueprints, printed shop schedules, Kanban cards/boards, operating maintenance instruction and procedure manuals, etc.
• Ability to properly identify components and gain extensive parts knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast paced, environment
