Job Description
The Milling Groundman position requires heavy physical duties involving asphalt milling and paving tasks, such as shoveling, raking, luting, and jack hammering. Overnight stays and night and weekend shifts are common. The position requires a GED/HS diploma, 2 years of related work experience, and a valid driver's license. Requirements
- Heavy physical duties involving asphalt milling and paving tasks
- Shoveling, raking, luting, and jack hammering
- Cleans tools, materials, and work areas
- Performs manual tasks involving fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination
- Communicates with other crew members to ensure safety and teamwork
- Extensive physical activity, dexterity, and fine motor skills
- Ability to carry heavy loads (up to 75 pounds)
- Ability to work in all weather elements
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, kneel, climb, or balance
- Specific types of vision: close, color, peripheral
- Good Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required
- Active, valid Driver's License required
