Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to document complete process flow of new projects/components, generate process files, and provide engineering support. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD software, CAM software, and CNC machining/manufacturing.
Requirements
- Document complete process flow of new projects/components
- Generate process files
- Provide engineering support
- Troubleshoot manufacturing process and machining issues
- Implement timely solutions
- Monitor and debug new methods, equipment, and procedures
- Generate CNC programs
- Order cutting tools and fixture components
- Provide SolidWorks and ESPRIT training and mentoring
- Review engineering documents
- Create Solid Models & CAD drawings
- Create CNC Machine Programs & Process Documentation
- Provides constant communication between Engineering and Operations
- Support Operations by providing technical support, interpretation, and engineering data
- Support Engineering by providing feedback, data, and other information needed to process parts
- Review and recommend improvements to manufacturing processes
- Identify need for established work procedure and standardized method
- Document and communicate work procedure and standardized methods
- Provide estimated manufacturing process and times to aid in quoting new & existing product
- Support customer visits through engineering expertise and project involvement
