Job Description
Performs basic and intricate electronic/electro-mechanical assembly functions on prototype and production type hardware according to company workmanship standards and military or client specifications. Assists in the development and wiring of engineering models and in the development of assembly methods and wire lists.
Requirements
- Determine Detail/Hardware locations per blueprints and mylars
- Set-up and operate Drill Press, Pneumatic drills, ‘C’ squeezes, Hand Squeezes, Rivet Pullers
- Install units, parts, equipment, and components in structural assembly, according to blueprints and specifications, using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect and test installed units, parts, and equipment for fit, performance, and compliance with standards, using measuring instruments and test equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on assembly presses and tooling
- Verify part and hardware count to shop router
