Job Description
Ensures that quality control procedures adequately evaluate products, develops and maintains quality evaluation and control systems, and collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Requirements
- Lead root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability.
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) execution and implementation
- Perform internal audits in alignment with QMS procedures
- Implement and support product quality strategies using methodologies such as Six-Sigma, Lean, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Support, monitor and track execution of First Article Inspections for both supplier and factory parts
- Support, monitor and track certification of special processes for supplier parts.
- Develop standard operating procedures within department.
