Efficient Numerical Simulation of Cat Qubits Expert - Internship

Alice & Bob is developing a universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. As an intern, you will work on developing efficient numerical simulation techniques for driven-dissipative bosonic systems, specifically focusing on cat qubits.

Requirements

• Familiarize yourself with cat qubits, density matrix formalism and stochastic models
• Develop efficient stochastic methods to simulate cat qubit evolution
• Develop Python code to implement the numerical method for efficient simulations.
• Apply the developed methods to study important physical problems involving cat qubits.
