Job Description
Alexander Dennis is seeking a Design Engineer to join their Engineering team within the chassis design function. The role focuses on the development of innovative vehicle designs by producing accurate 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and build documentation, working closely with production teams to ensure vehicle specs are met and materials are sourced effectively. It requires a passion for design engineering and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Significant experience in automotive industry
- Strong working knowledge of 3D CAD
- Solid understanding of design for manufacture principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- HNC in mechanical engineering
