Job Description
The Principal, Molding & Tooling Engineering leads strategic and technical initiatives related to injection molding processes, mold/tooling design, and manufacturing optimization. This role ensures tooling solutions are innovative, cost-effective, scalable, and meet performance and quality standards.
Requirements
- Supports molding production as subject matter expert pertaining to liquid silicone molding and 2k or 2 shot molding processes.
- Designing arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
- Project Management of new equipment purchases including capex financial management.
- Collaboration with internal customers and external suppliers at a detailed technical level.
- Onboarding of new technologies such as double shot injection molding.
