The Health Care Coordinator will oversee operations in 24-hour care homes, coordinating medical supports for individuals with complex medical needs. The role requires strong clinical leadership skills, collaboration skills, and the ability to respond to emergencies.
Requirements
- Degree related to the position assignment
- Three (3) years of related experience as a regulated member of the appropriate college
- Clinical judgment, collaboration skills, ability to respond to emergencies
- Supervisory experience
- Experience working in residential or 24-hour care settings supporting medically fragile individuals
- Knowledge of accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and outbreak management protocols
- Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
- Demonstrated experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Skilled in conflict resolution, mediation, and supporting performance management
- Familiarity with health-care documentation systems, client tracking software, and data integrity practices
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and the ability to travel within Alberta as needed
