Private Markets Business Development Professional, Nordics

Aksia is seeking an experienced Business Development Professional to join their Pan-Alternatives team in Europe, focusing on institutional relationships within the Nordic region. This role involves developing and managing key client relationships, delivering multi-asset class solutions, and serving as the primary client interface. It offers a high-impact opportunity within a strategically aligned firm.

Requirements

• 6–12 years of experience in investor relations, business development, or institutional sales with a focus on alternative investments.
• Deep knowledge of and exposure to one or more alternative strategies: private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real assets, or real estate.
• Demonstrated success cultivating LP relationships across institutional or private wealth channels.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex client engagements and internal workstreams.
• High degree of initiative, integrity, and commercial acumen.
• Fluent writing and verbal skills in English and either Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and/or Danish.
