Civil Engineer - Land Development (PE)

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer for its The Dalles, Oregon office. The role will involve leading site development projects, managing projects, and providing technical leadership. The team environment provides resources for in-house technical experts to meet client needs. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, a minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering design, and an Oregon or Washington Professional Engineer (PE) civil license.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering design related to land development.
• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent degree (required).
• Oregon or Washington Professional Engineer (PE) civil license or the ability to obtain a license in the near future (required).
• Ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience successfully delivering site development projects in Oregon and/or Washington.
• Knowledge and familiarity with local codes and agency standards.
• Basic understanding of project reports, solid time management, and follow-through skills.
