Job Description
The machine builder is responsible for the assembly of machines, specialized equipment, and automation systems based off designs, drawings, manuals, and other technical specifications provided.
Requirements
- Assemble complete machines from components including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Integrate mechanical machines and complex automated systems in accordance with final design intent.
- Verify conformance of parts to the bill of material and drawings.
- Identify and resolve issues during the assembly process.
- Set up and test equipment before delivery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
- Construct, rebuild, and repair machines.
- Install and troubleshoot machines integrated into automation systems.
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
