Join Airgas as a Plant Supervisor and support the Plant Manager in supervising, training, and evaluating the performance of plant operators. The role involves conducting periodic checks of the generation plant, assigning job tasks, and recommending measures to improve production methods.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2+ years of production experience, preferably in our industry or a manufacturing or distribution environment, plus experience supervising, motivating and leading other associates
- Must be able to substitute for plant technicians at each position
- Ability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work varied shifts including some overtime, if necessary
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
- Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10 to over 110 degrees
