Job Description
This Direct Support Professional (CLS) position provides comprehensive support to individuals with intellectual and other disabilities within a Community Living Services program. Responsibilities include self-care routines, health and safety support, household chore assistance, socialization, and medication administration, ensuring independence and a high quality of life. The role requires regular physical contact and adherence to treatment plans and agency procedures.
Requirements
- NYS drivers' license and qualified status
- Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals
- Compliance with all treatment plan requirements and agency policies
