The MIS Support and Training Analyst is a vital role within Agilisys, promoting the effective use of MIS within schools and providing day-to-day comprehensive support. The role involves providing telephone, remote, and onsite support across MIS software modules, creating training and support materials, and helping deliver training courses. The ideal candidate will have experience working with MIS solutions, delivering training courses, and providing support and advice on MIS systems.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience working with MIS(Sims, FMS and Arbor) solutions in a school or support team
- Experience of delivering training courses
- Good understanding of MIS and IT support issues
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience of providing support, advice and training in the use of MIS systems
- Knowledge of schools procedures, working practices and statutory requirements
- Relevant experience in the education sector preferred
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and orally to different audiences
- Ability to prepare and run effective training courses
- Ability to work on own initiative and a part of a team
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing solutions
- Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
- Ability to respond to the changing needs and priorities within the education environment
- Ability to write clear concise instructions/training manuals
