Job Description
You will play a key role in the successful integration of our collaborative robotics solutions in the customer context. You will lead a team of application engineers, work with the sales team, and contribute to the growth and success of our company. To be able to serve all stakeholders successfully, you are prepared to travel regularly to our customers and German subsidiaries.
Your Tasks
- Build and manage an Application Engineering team
- Provide technical leadership to the Application Engineering team in the development and implementation of collaborative, customer-specific robot solutions
- Act as a bridge between the Application Engineering team and other internal departments, including sales, engineering, and R&D, with the aim of gaining valuable insights and feedback for product improvement
- Maintain contact with our customers to understand their individual challenges and requirements
- Implement initiatives to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction within the team
- Monitor the creation of technical proposals, feasibility studies, and solution architectures
- Provide technical support after sales, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides
- Document best practices for application development and integration
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to ensure that our solutions remain leading in collaborative robotics
Your Profile
- Proven leadership experience in application engineering or a similar function, preferably in the robotics or automation industry
- Good knowledge of collaborative robotics, including programming and integration
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency
- English and German language skills, including negotiation
- Your work style is characterized by independence, thoroughness, and teamwork
- You are enthusiastic, communicative, highly motivated, and helpful
- Willingness to travel regularly
