Job Description
8am is seeking a Data Migration Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve data migration strategies for clients. The role involves full data lifecycle management, data profiling, data cleansing, and ensuring data accuracy. The company provides innovative financial technology solutions and is focused on empowering professionals with technology to deliver world-class outcomes and exceptional financial results.
Requirements
- BA/BS/BE degree required
- 2-3 years of experience on data migrations
- 1+ year of customer service experience preferred
- Understanding and experience of manipulating data with variety SQL tools (CSVs, Excel, SQL SERVER, MySQL or Postgres)
- Working knowledge in Python, Ruby or Ruby on Rails is an asset
- Strong understanding of Data Migrations lifecycle (Dev, QA and Prod)
- Ability to work under pressure and handle complex projects
- Detail oriented and able to handle advanced instructions
- Customer oriented and able to balance with strong cost control and management
