Job Description
As a Game Designer at Aesir Interactive, you will be the bridge between abstract design concepts and tangible gameplay, defining, connecting, and building the features of systemically driven games. You will interpret systems and mechanics through the lens of player feel and technical feasibility, producing playable prototypes in Unreal Engine 5.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Game Design with a focus on technical implementation or rapid prototyping
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design work, for PC/console titles
- Experience shipping at least one commercial game title PC/Console
- Proficiency with design and rapid prototyping tools like Figma
- Advanced proficiency in UE5 and a deep understanding of the Blueprint visual scripting system
- Solid understanding of UX principles, interface design, and user-centred design practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
