Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to support a mission-critical software development effort for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The role involves designing, managing, and optimizing data architectures that underpin browser-based applications used for compliance tracking, vulnerability management, and RMF-aligned workflows. The successful candidate will ensure data integrity, performance, and secure access across a modern, cloud-native technology stack hosted in AWS.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in backend database development or data engineering roles.
- Expert-level SQL skills, including complex queries and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with AWS data transformation and integration services.
- Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines in AWS environments.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized application environments.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data security principles.
- Proven debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
