Job Description
Aegis is seeking a Tooling Design Engineer to join our client's organization in Dekalb, IL. The ideal candidate has experience with tooling design, SolidWorks, and CAD software, as well as experience working with plastic products and collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working as a tooling design engineer
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software
- Experience translating packaging drawings and samples into 3D design software
- Experience with BOM
- Experience putting those designs into thermoforming ready designs
- Experience with prototyping the designs and validation of the product
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, production, and quality teams
- Customer facing experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hands on and detail-oriented individual
