Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Power Systems and Modeling to support Energy Transition projects.
Requirements
- Provides technical expertise and strategic guidance to inform grid modernization initiatives, opportunities, and projects
- Evaluates, develops, and leads projects that have significant financial and operational impact
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, aligning project outcomes with client goals and industry standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, and key energy stakeholders
- Plans, writes, and performs tasks for proposals and project deliverables
- Collaborates across business lines and teams
- Engages with technical and industry organizations to remain informed on emerging technology and relevant challenges in the utility sector
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge and ability to apply problem solving approaches and engineering theory
- Developing system models, simulating various scenarios, and generating detailed reports based on the outcomes
