Job Description
Advocates is seeking a full-time Skills Instructor for adult populations with intellectual or developmental disabilities, autism, or a brain injury. The role involves providing daily support, facilitating skill development, and promoting community integration. This entry-level position offers a chance to begin a career in education or human services with a focus on promoting healthy work-life balance and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- Assist individuals with goals, plans, and needs.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Collaborate with a Case Manager.
- Create and implement therapeutic service plans (DHSPs).
- Complete required documentation.
- Promote individual advocacy, empowerment, and community integration.
