Job Description
Advocates is seeking a Direct Service Worker to provide support to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges within a residential setting. The role involves supervising daily activities, providing guidance, facilitating integration into the community, and managing medication. Candidates should be compassionate, strong communicators, and committed to building relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Participate in the development of treatment plans.
- Document progress towards treatment plans.
- Provide linkage with other program staff.
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to clients.
- Monitor and document medication administration.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Ensure paperwork is updated.
- Attend training and maintain certifications.
- Provide crisis intervention.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle access.
