Surgical Technician, Per Diem, Variable Shift

Assists the surgical team in the preparation of surgical procedures in the operating room. Prepares surgical cases by creating and maintaining a sterile field, retracting and passing instruments, supplies and medications to surgeons during cases.

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent
• Associate’s/Technical Degree/Completion of Surgical Technician program or equivalent combination of education/related experience
• Scrub technician experience
• Operating room experience and/or training course
• Surgery Technician certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
