Job Description
The Medical Assistant performs various duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include preparing examination/treatment rooms, taking vital signs, and maintaining patient charts.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certificate from an accredited vocational program
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Basic Life Support Certification
- AED Certification
