Job Description
Advanced Technology & Research Corporation (ATR) is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Technician for the Automation Division in Beltsie, MD. The position involves assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and automated mechanical systems. Requirements
- Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and computer-controlled mechanical systems (robotic systems, material processing machines)
- Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine assembly methods
- Verify dimensions of parts using measuring instruments
- Basic proficiency in metalworking machines and welding equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of manual dexterity and assembling equipment
