Policy Central Internship - Summer 2026

The Policy Central Internship is an opportunity to work with Advanced Energy United, a national industry association representing businesses that provide advanced energy and transportation solutions. As an intern, you will support the Illinois and Michigan policy and advocacy work by developing a quote bank and creating an internal resource to support legislative advocacy, regulatory comments, testimony, and stakeholder education.

Requirements

• Review and analyze primary source, regulatory or executive documents
• Catalog verbatim quotes relevant to key policy themes
• Identify recurring arguments, themes, and framing used by utilities, regulators, and other stakeholders
• Prepare a final presentation summarizing key findings and patterns
