Job Description
Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is a leading technology consultancy headquartered in Singapore. We are searching for a Software Engineer to join our growing team and work on various projects, including modernization initiatives and legacy system maintenance.
Requirements
- 5+ years full-stack software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in IaC (Terraform, OpenTofu, etc) on AWS
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD/Pipeline with GitLab
- Hands-on experience in AWS with experience in ECS and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in backend technologies (Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or similar)
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
- Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proven ability to translate high-level concepts into scalable technical implementations
- Experience implementing security controls and compliance requirements in production
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit logging
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Experience with system integration and event-driven architectures
- Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, OpenTofu)
- Cloud platform (AWS)
- GitLab pipelines
- Backend framework (Java/Kotlin/Python preferred)
- Self-directed, pragmatic problem solver who balances technical excellence with business needs, communicates effectively across teams, writes maintainable code, and stays current with technology trends.
