Job Description
We are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer to join our CE&I Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering complex and challenging nuclear and non-nuclear projects, developing and delivering engineering designs for systems with significant and challenging functional safety requirements.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience applying functional safety / safety case methodologies in regulated or high-hazard sectors
- Strong understanding of IEC standards: 61508, 61511, and 61513
- Ability to justify engineering decisions using risk-based thinking
- Familiarity with planning and project delivery processes across complex engineering environments
