Job Description
ACRT, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester with experience in forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, or related disciplines. The role involves identifying, inspecting, and evaluating trees and brush along utility lines, and working with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2 or 4 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field
- High school diploma plus 2 years of experience in Utility Vegetation Management or other related field
- Strong tree ID skills
- ISA Arborist and applicators license
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Experience in utility vegetation management
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with GIS integrated data collection software/hardware
- Self-motivated, organized, production-oriented
- Ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules
- Valid driver's license
