Job Description
The Data Analyst– Forecast Performance & Competitive Insights will support AccuWeather’s forecasting operations by comparing forecasted data against other sources. They will collaborate with meteorologists and other teams to improve forecasts, deliver insights, and support strategic initiatives. The role involves project management and working on weekends as needed.
Requirements
- Collecting, normalizing, and analyzing forecast data.
- Developing and maintaining metrics dashboards and reporting.
- Analyzing forecast accuracy, bias, and reliability.
- Creating actionable insights to drive operational improvement.
- Working with the Sr. Director and strategic projects.
