Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of software product initiatives in the electric power system analysis, visualization, and optimization of electric utility data. This role involves shaping testing strategies, driving quality across the team, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and resolve bugs. The engineer will work to push products to the limit, catching bugs before customers do.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 2-5 years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer
• Hands-on experience in software product testing
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test types (functional, regression, performance, security, etc.)
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience with virtualized environments and cloud platforms
