Job Description
The CNC Operator is responsible for turning CAD files into poly lines, geometric shapes, and machine programming, as well as collaborating with the detailers, shop supervisor and shop carpenters regarding needed parts.
Requirements
- Collaborate with the detailers, shop supervisor and shop carpenters regarding needed parts
- Machine new exhibit parts according to CAD files or verbal communication with team members
- Maintain work area and machines in a safe and clean condition and free of hazards
- Conduct a daily and yearly maintenance on the CNC machine and keeping accurate maintenance records
- Maintain daily work and material logs using timekeeping kiosks
- Assist the shop supervisor in scheduling the workload as it relates to the CNC machine
