Job Description
This full-time Psychiatrist position within the Adult Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Rockland County, New York, focuses on providing psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with serious mental illness in a community-based setting. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, participating in team meetings, and providing expert consultation to other providers. This position prioritizes person-centered, recovery-oriented care and close integration within the community.
Requirements
- MD or DO with active state medical licensure
- Current DEA Certification
- Board Certification (or eligibility) in Psychiatry
- Active driver’s license
- Experience with ACT, community-based psychiatry, or treatment of serious mental illness
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Comfortable with community and office settings
