Community Habilitation Worker - Newburgh, NY

Access Supports is seeking Community Habilitation Workers (CHWs) for various locations in the Hudson Valley area to provide skill building training and support to Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. CHWs will work in the community and/or at the individual's residence, focusing on teaching daily living skills and personal outcomes. The role involves mentoring, assisting with hygiene, and completing required documentation. CHWs will report progress, challenges, and ensure client rights are protected.

Requirements

• Must meet electronic and real-time technological reporting requirements.
• Valid, Unrestricted Driver's License.
• Strong interpersonal and engagement skills.
• Prior experience with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorders.
• Ability to document services and understand regulations.
