Job Description
This Gas Distribution Technician 1 position involves supporting gas infrastructure projects through fieldwork, equipment operation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge of underground utility installation and is designed to gradually increase technical responsibilities. Supervision is provided.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in utility installation, construction, or gas distribution (preferred)
- Basic understanding of polyethylene fusion processes and pipe handling
- Familiarity with reading blueprints or site plans
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Willingness to learn and perform hands-on technical tasks
- Ability to operate or assist with small machinery
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
